Our Story
The Madan Sara merchants of Haiti travel long, oftentimes dangerous, distances to bring fresh, organic produce and natural goods to the market in the bustling city. Madan Saras are oftentimes the primary breadwinners of their families and are known as the backbone of the informal Haitian economy. Like her namesake, Madam Sara(H) is here to bring the freshest and highest quality product to her clients and patrons alike.
And the bird? Madan Sara birds are known for their migratory behavior and distinct song, chirping away like the Madan Sara merchants in the city markets. The bird is a symbol of grace and elegance which is effortlessly reflected in the art like boards of Madam Sara(H) Charcuterie & Grazing.
